UAV air cleaners

Monday, July 28th, 2008

I can see a day soon when unmanned aerial vehicles will fly around the sky collecting the carbon out of it in order to help clean the air. And the unmanned aerial vehicles will run off batteries that recharge using solar power and flutter technology because as technology grows faster and smaller and more energy efficient systems are created we will soon be able to fly these type of machines in the air via GPS guided routes that just do nothing all day but clean the air we breathe.

There are probably dozens of different activities an unmanned machine could do all day to help mankind and the above idea is just the tip of the ice berg as to what machines can do to better mans life here on earth. If you have any ideas please leave them in the comments, because I would love to read them!

They make it rain for real

Friday, July 18th, 2008

Seems that Dubai recently cloud seeded there skies over there city with dry ice in order to help bring some of the pollution out of the air. China will seed clouds prior to the Olympics this year in order to do the same for there cities hosting the event. I wonder if that maybe the World should consider cloud seeding for the poles in order to bring more snow and ice.

But it also makes me wonder if all this could seeding is causing stronger storms around the World? i want to hear your thoughts on these topics so leave your ideas where it is clearly marked.

The Zero emissions city

Monday, May 12th, 2008

Right now a zero emissions city is being built in Abu Dhabi that will server as a large scale test for renewable energy. The city will run mostly on solar energy, along with some wind and power from technology that converts garbage into fuel.

A lot of the money used to fund the city is coming from oil profits and the other large portion coming from the Masdar Initiative, a $15 billion government-funded investment program designed in part to ensure that the UAE’s prosperity won’t be linked exclusively to its oil.

Cyborg Insects

Thursday, May 1st, 2008

Yes the Pentagon has made Cyborg insects that can used for carrying microphone and probably one day weapons in its body. Basically an insect goes threw several stages of life and by inserting these microphones into the insects at an early stage { Larva Stage } allows there body to grow around the implanted devices during the next stage of growth so the devices are apart of there body which makes them into a wireless microphones or one day assassins for the Government.

Monday, February 18th, 2008

Well there are several great places online to get news from if your a nerd like myself and just incase someone out there is becoming a nerd and has not found them yet I wanted to post about them on my blog.

The very first is called Slashdot and is located at http://slashdot.com they made the name is order to fool spammers looking for there site which is why is is named what it is but is probably the best place on the internet to find great information about geek stuff.

The second is called Wired which is my favorite place on the internet to keep up with everything in the world of nerds and is located here http://www.wired.com. lots of great articles and pictures and oh yea they have a magazine to, lol.

The third is called technology review which keeps up with all the latest and greatest things going on over at MIT and also some things around the World. A really great place to learn about the future of things to come and is worth reading if your into that kinda stuff.
